01 - 2 ripe pears, diced (about 1 1/2 cups)
02 - 3/4 cup fresh cranberries, chopped
03 - 1/2 small red onion, finely diced

04 - 1 to 2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and finely chopped
05 - 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped

06 - Zest and juice of 1 lime
07 - 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup

09 - 1 small red bell pepper, diced
# Method:
01 - Combine diced pears, chopped cranberries, finely diced red onion, jalapeño peppers, cilantro, and if desired, red bell pepper, in a medium mixing bowl.
02 - Incorporate lime zest, lime juice, honey or maple syrup, and salt into the mixture.
03 - Gently toss all components together until evenly distributed.
04 - Sample and refine flavor by adding additional lime juice or sweetener as preferred.
05 - Let the salsa stand for 10 minutes to meld flavors. Present chilled or at ambient temperature.
